Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains how AppNorth handles personal data as controller for customer accounts and as processor for data customers collect from their apps’ end users.
Controller contact
The service operates under the AppNorth brand. For privacy, data protection or rights requests, email hola@appnorth.app.
Account data
- Name, email and encrypted credentials, or basic Google OAuth details.
- Organisation, projects, members, roles and settings.
- Billing data handled by Polar as reseller and merchant of record. AppNorth does not store your full card number.
- Technical security records used to prevent fraud and abuse.
We process this data to perform the contract, provide support, meet legal duties and protect the service under our legitimate interests.
Your app users’ data
When someone uses the SDK or a hosted roadmap, AppNorth processes ideas, votes, comments, messages and—where enabled by the integration—email, screenshots and limited diagnostics on the customer’s behalf. The customer determines the purpose and must inform users and establish a legal basis.
Vendors and transfers
We share data only with vendors needed to operate the service. Their purpose and location are listed under subprocessors. Polar handles purchase data under its own terms as merchant of record. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention and security
Retention periods are listed in the data retention policy. Downgrading does not delete data; content over a plan limit becomes hidden. We use access controls, encryption in transit and technical measures proportionate to risk.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and data portability. You can export or delete a workspace from the dashboard. If you are an end user of a customer app, contact that app first and we will assist it. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or your local supervisory authority.
